Apply for Dispatch Representative Position

This is a work from home position and you will be a part of Refresh Smart Home’s Client Service team. You will answer inbound calls from clients and vendors from across the country and assist with installation and support services for our Nest Pro Elite Installers and also introduce and educate clients about other products and brands Refresh Smart Home offers.

You will also answer client inquiries by email and online chat in a timely manner and reflect the values of Refresh Smart Home in every interaction with our clients.

You are the first person that clients will communicate with, so the ability to quickly understand what their needs are and to guide them well is crucial in creating a good client experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Proficient in English (speaking and writing)
  • 3-5 yrs work experience in client service (retail, food & beverage, sales, call center, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment
  • Excellent Math calculation (addition and subtraction)
  • Excellent communication skills (clear speech, use of professional and appropriate vocabulary, concise)
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Excellent written skills (spelling, grammar, vocabulary)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to use discretion and problem solving
  • Type 50+ wpm
  • Application and use of computer and smart phone software programs
  • Desktop or laptop computer
  • Headset with mic
  • Fast internet speed (at least 50mbps)
  • Greet and interact with clients and vendors in a polite, positive and professional manner
  • Handle incoming telephone and outgoing telephone call(s) – communicate professionally with clients, vendors, etc.
  • Handle incoming emails and chat inquiries - communicate professionally with clients, vendors, etc.
  • Diffuse difficult situations with irate clients while upholding our professionalism and positive values
  • Communicate clearly with clients via telephone, email and chat
  • Develop extensive knowledge of Nest’s products and other premium brands that Refresh Smart Home offer
  • Develop extensive knowledge of Refresh Smart Home’s installation services and pricing structure
  • Regular use of Freshdesk, HouseCall, Trello, Slack and more (Training to be provided)
  • Date entry (inventory management on Airtable, point system on Refresh Pro Dashboard, feedback request emails to clients, statistics, etc.)
  • Accurately complete necessary data entry, including but not limited to; payment invoice, job summary, etc.
  • Regular inventory checks of Refresh Smart Home products, equipment, materials and supplies
  • Create client profiles and send estimates
  • Communicate via Slack
  • Attend online meetings
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Scheduling – field technicians, vendors, contractors, etc
  • Answer questions accurately and be thorough when explaining and providing detailed product and/or system capabilities and operational instructions to clients.
  • Work independently and without supervision
  • Be able to introduce products and services to clients who you feel may benefit from such recommendations
  • Answer calls or inquiries from vendors or other non clients and direct to appropriate staff
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
